My 1st Vegetable!

On New Year's Eve mom and dad finally gave me my first taste of food other than rice cereal and oatmeal. Mom made sweet potatoes just for me and boy were they delicious! They thought maybe I wouldn't like them but I ate the entire bowl right up! I cant wait to try the next thing, I heard them talking about making squash next!

Daddy Day Care

Over Christmas Mom and Dad watched my cousin Lauren for a couple hours so Jessie and Dan could go to a movie- their first one since Lauren was born! It was fun playing with her, boy can she crawl fast! We don't look very amused in this picture but only because they interrupted our playing to take another picture!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

I had my first Christmas and it was great! To start it out Mom and Dad and I went out and cut down a tree, and went and saw Santa. Then we got to take 4 days off from daycare to go see family! I got so many great presents- I sure am having fun playing with them all! Thanks everyone!

First Fever

Last week I had my first fever, and it was awful! Mom and dad got a little worried when it was 102.5 under the arm so they called Dr. Valyo and he said to give me some Tylenol. Sure enough I was feeling better in no time!

More food please!

I am getting so good at eating my food, I just cant get enough of it! I have moved on to oatmeal now, and mom was right it is sooo delicious!

Dear Santa

I saw Santa the other weekend! I sat on his lap and didn't even cry. My cousin Lauren came too, we had so much fun. I hope I get all I asked for!

I love my cousins!

Over Thanksgiving I got to see all of my cousins, and it was a blast! I love hanging out with them. My oldest cousin Grace is getting really good at holding me all by herself! Such a big girl.

Supper Time!

Since it was Thanksgiving and all, Mom and Dad finally decided it was time to give me my first taste of solids, rice cereal! With help from Aunt Jessie it was delicious. At first I wasn't quite sure what to think of it but I quickly learned to love it. Can't wait to see what I get to try next!

Nice Puppies

Grandma and Grandpa have two puppies and they are so nice to me. They let me pet them and poke at them whenever I want to. Since mom and Dad dont want to get a puppy for me just yet, I sure am glad I get to play with Charlie and Jake once in awhile!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I had a great first Thanksgiving! I got to hang out with all of my cousins, and see lots of other relatives too. Mom kept telling me how much she loves thanksgiving and now I know why! By the end of the big day I had to take a little nap with uncle Craig.

Fall

It's Time

Mom decided (with a little encouragement from Grandma!) that it was time to sleep in my crib on my 5month birthday. We'll see how tonight goes... As soon as mom put me in my crib tonight I flipped over and got both arms out from under me! I was so excited but it just made mom and dad more nervous... relax you guys! Bath Time!

One of my favorite things to do is take a bath! I get so excited when I hear mom and dad filling that tub up. I kick like crazy and splash all over the place. Mom and Dad had to start putting my tub inside the big tub because I was getting the floor in the kitchen too wet! I sure am a good kicker :) Here's a few photos of me enjoying my bath.

It's getting cold!

I can't believe how cold it has gotten in the last few weeks! I sure am glad mom bought me this warm car seat cover. And i just love the new jacket Grandma picked out for me!

I can sit up!

Sorry its been so long since mom and dad have posted something, they keep saying how busy they've been. I have a cold right now, i've had it for over a week, and i have an ear infection now too! Dad got me more medicine today, i'm not sure about this pink bubblegum tasting stuff... Anyhow, here are a few photos of me sitting in my bumbo seat, i just love being able to sit up and play, and i am getting really good at holding my head up too!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we met Megan and Scott and my friend Maddox at the pumpkin patch. We got to go on a hay ride and pick out 3 pumpkins. I wasnt a big fan of sitting on the prickly straw as you can tell, but I still had a good time!

Boots

It was so cold the other morning mom thought she better put some shoes on me for the first time. I am not sure how i felt about having these things on my feet, but all the ladies at daycare kept saying how cute i looked. I didnt think they were ever going to take them off of me but luckily mom came to feed me at noon and she took them off for me!

Big Smiler

Here are a few pics of me showing off some of my biggest smiles! I have started to laugh now too, which my mom and dad just can't get enough of. They want to get it on video but everytime they put that camera in my face I stop giggling to check it out.

Back to Work

It was a sad day for me and mom when she had to bring me to daycare. Sometimes I cry when she puts me in the carseat to go in the morning, but once I get there I am fine and I play all day!
