Dodgeville Pool
It has been so hot out that last weekend we finally took advantage of Dodgeville's nice outdoor pool. The water temperature was perfect for the super hot day, and Leyton loved the kiddie pool area. He also loved getting dunked in the big pool by us! He kept laughing and saying "more! more!" I'm sure we'll be going back soon.

I scream you scream...
we all scream for ice cream! Wednesday night was the Lands' End Back up centers annual ice cream social. They always have fun things for the kids to do and of course yummy Culver's custard! This year there was pick a duck, ring toss, a bouncy house, and a few crafts for the kids to do. Leyton went to the back up center from 3 months old to 9 months, so I love seeing all of my favorite teachers that took such good care of him. Here are a few photos from our night!
Leyton and Eric in the bouncy house... I'm not sure who had more fun...Leyton trying his luck at the ring toss...And making a picture frame- remember these neat things where you scratch off the black to reveal fun colors underneath?

Lake Superior
Last weekend we went up to Lake Superior, and it was a beautiful weekend! We got there Thursday night around midnight- Leyton did pretty well on the 6 hour drive, and we stayed until Sunday. We had so much fun playing on the beach, kayaking, and shopping in Bayfield. The whole McNamara family was there (all 16 of us!) which made it so fun. We can't wait to go back next year- thanks for having us Jessie and Dan!Leyton playing on the beach with Grandpaand kayaking with Kelly...Grace, Ella and Lucy...
Of course I had to get a picture of Grace and Lucy in their matching Lands' End swimsuits!

Happy Fourth!
We had a very busy and fun filled fourth of July weekend visiting lots of family up north. We went to the McNamara's cabin, visited with Grandma Bostow and Aunt Sarah, watched fireworks (Leyton thought they were the neatest things ever!), did some fishing, and even played with a giant globe sprinkler! Here are some photos from our weekend.
Leyton and Eric happy to be at the lake!Leyton and his first fish ever! Eric got him this "Cars" fishing pole, and he caught 3 fish on it. He was so excited and proud, but too nervous to touch the fish!Uncle Pat taking Leyton for a kayak ride. He begged for that and paddle boat rides pretty much the rest of the afternoon!Who says boys can't look handsome in a purple life jacket?! Lauren relaxing in her tube...It doesn't get much cuter than this- Maggie and Ella hanging out together beachside...Lucy looking adorable in her water wings...And our cheerleader Grace!Out for breakfast with Aunt Sarah and Grandma Bostow...Leyton checking out the new sprinkler and learning his geography...Cheering Lauren down the slide... And drinking from one of the spouts!
