Lands' End Picnic
Saturday was the annual "LE Jam", also known as our company picnic. Every year they bring in a band and have lots of food and activities for kids to do. This year the singer was Joe Nichols. It was a really hot day so we didn't stay late enough to hear him play, but we did hear some other good bands. Leyton had a blast in the toddler bouncy house, but kept wanting to go in all the huge obstacle course type bouncy things! He also got his first pony ride and loved that too, so he talked us into standing in line and doing it again! Here are some photos from the day.Leyton making some crafts...And looking for buried treasure...Begging for another pony ride...And burning off some energy in the bouncy house!
Friends!
A couple weekends ago Anna and Dustin and their two kids Lydia and Ellie came to visit us. It was great to have them down to Dodgeville to hang out and catch up. On Saturday Eric and Dustin did an incredibly challenging bike race called the Dairyland Dare, and they did really well! It was a 100K with some of the steepest hills I've ever seen. Good job guys! :) Lydia and Leyton had fun playing, and Leyton was in love with Ellie. He's still asking why the baby went home! Thanks for coming guys! Oh and I have to apologize for the photo quality... my camera was acting funny so these pictures are pretty bad. I only took a couple and then gave up!

Picnic on the square
A few weekends ago Eric had to do a 13 mile training run so we decided to head to Madison where Eric could do his run while Leyton and I hung out. We did a few errands and then enjoyed a nice picnic on the capital square. It was SO hot out, but we still had a fun time. Leyton loved the picnic and running around the lawn. When Eric got back we all toured the capital for a bit/enjoyed the AC and headed back home.
