Dinos!
Right now at the Minnesota Zoo they have a Dino exhibit going on. We all checked it out a few weeks and it was pretty cool! The Dinos are huge, and move and make noises. Leyton was a little worried a couple times, but luckily wasn't crying or screaming like some of the other kids in there!
Duluth
This post is really overdue, but Memorial day weekend we took a drive to Duluth, MN (before all of the terrible flooding happened). It was freezing and rainy, but we still had a great time! We did a lot of lighthouse sight-seeing, a little shopping, eating and playing. Here are some photos from the trip:

Gooseberry Falls was beautiful:
Leyton and Cal both loved going through the tunnels:

Cal and the Goats
To say that Cal likes the goats at the zoo would be an understatement... Every time we go there he gets so excited to see them and feed them. The day we actually went in to the petting part with them was pretty funny. He was running from goat to goat petting them, laying his head on them, and just laying on them. Luckily the goats don't seem to mind his friendliness!

Haircut
Cal got his first big haircut last week, but don't get me wrong, he still has a lot of hair. Cal's hair has pretty much turned into crazy ringlets in the back, but still has the straight bangs. The ringlets in the back were getting really long so I finally decided it was time to cut those too, instead of just going in for bang trims all the time. Like the last couple of times I've gone to get his bangs trimmed and asked the stylist if I should cut the curls she said not to, and warned me they might not come back. Still, I felt bad for how hot and sweaty he's been getting under all that hair on his neck and summer's only just beginning. So in the end, we cut about 1 1/2" off of his curls all the way around, and trimmed the bangs like usual. Luckily he still has the curls, their just not as tight as they were.
I realized after she had sprayed it and combed it straight that I didn't take a before pick, so I quickly took this not so great one:
This picture is pretty blurry, but basically he is bawling. He cried from start to finish. Poor guy!Cheese head
This little guy LOVES cheese! Nothing on the counter is safe anymore, as he loves to climb on the chairs and see whats going on up there. Eric was cooking and had the cheese out and we found him helping himself to some!
Those are some big bites!

T-ball!
Leyton started t-ball in Rosemount this week. Rosemount is the neighboring town about 5 minutes from here, so its a quick drive. He loves baseball so much, but I was still a little nervous how it would go because he is also still really shy. He did great though! When it was done he asked why it wasn't longer (just like in gymnastics...).
Leyton was excited to see what color the shirts would be (and equally excited that he got to bring his own water bottle)! He likes blue, green and purple so this worked!
Warming up with a game of catch with the coach: (Leyton is on the left end)Cal did a good job of staying busy and not running onto the field. He spent a good part of the 45 minutes guarding Leyton's water bottle for him :)
In this picture he is playing catch with his partner. He is squatting down next to the coach who is kneeling, ready to catch the ball!
Leyton is sitting on the coaches left in this picture. They had to say their name and favorite color. Leyton went first and said blue.
Snack break of cheese for Cal:
All done!
