End of Summer

We finished off summer with one last swim in Mansell's pool a month ago.  Summer went way too fast, but we had a lot of fun! Thanks for letting us swim all summer Kelly and Dave!

Cal and Luca are dare-devils in the pool.  They go down the slide and off the diving board over and over with no fear... all day long.

Fiona's 15 month Check-up

On June 30th Fiona turned 15 months old.  Her 15 month check-up confirmed that she is still a big, healthy girl!  

Here are her 15mo stats:

Weight: 26.4lbs, 90%

Height: 85-90%

She was a happy girl until it was time for shots:

Sarah and Bryon's Wedding!

On May 31st Eric's sister Sarah married Bryon.  It was a great day and we were so honored to all be in their wedding!  The kids did great, and Sarah looked absolutely beautiful!  Since we were all in the wedding, I dont have many photos of the actual wedding, but here are a few photos from their big day!

The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous, and it sprinkled just the right amount during the ceremony (and down-poured the minute it finished- perfect timing!).

Sharon decorated the wagon for Cal to pull Fiona in.  He did great, and took his job very seriously!  I was impressed he made it down the long path nice and slowly and didnt get too  nervous with all of the people watching him!

Fiona screamed when I put her tulle dress on her, but luckily she was over being mad by the time the ceremony started!

After the ceremony Cal enjoyed the open soda bar :)

We had a fun night of dancing and celebrating!

Fiona enjoyed the red velvet cake (her dress did not...) and then took a nap in the corner of ball room!

Handsom boy!  Leyton was so well behaved and helpful all weekend.

T-Ball!

Leyton was in New Richmond T-ball this year, and had a really good season.  It was fun because this year he knew kids on his team and other teams from daycare and 4K.  It was also great to see his confidence grow as the season went on.

This year the kids really started to get the hang of getting the ball and throwing it or getting to the plate to tag someone out.

We were very fortunate to have friends at daycare that helped out with getting Leyton to t-ball at 5:30 every Tuesday.  Alex's (in the photo below) Mom Abby and I played basketball against each other growing up, and her Dad happened to be Leyton's coach! Alex and Leyton are daycare buddies.

Leyton is 6!

On June 17th Leyton turned 6 years old!  He was so excited to turn 

6, and I of course cant believe how fast these past 6 years have flown by.  

We celebrated his birthday with a pool party at Kelly and Dave's house, which has been what he asks for every year since they got the pool.  Thanks for having us, and to everyone for coming to his party!  

He was very excited about his Star Wars shirts:

He picked out this dragon cake, which turned out pretty cool, with the exception that it was about 50% frosting!

He loved all of his presents!  He is really into Lego's, Star Wars, Ninja Turtles, still any type of craft/painting/coloring, and his Nintendo 3DS that he got for his birthday.

I did get this cute photo of Luca and Cal though.  They make me laugh every time they are together. They are really best buddies!

Fiona loves to swing lately.  Sometimes Leyton is nice enough to help push her ;)

On the night of his actual birthday (Tuesday) he had a t-ball game, which he thought was pretty neat.  We celebrated after the game at home with leftover cake.
