Apple Picking!

This past weekend we met Megan and Scott and Maddox at an Apple Orchard near Madison. It was a beautiful fall day and the boys had a lot of fun picking and eating apples together! Unfortunately the tractor for the hayrides broke down on the hayride before ours and Leyton talked about it the rest of the weekend... even on the way to daycare on Monday he was telling me how "tractors broke, need to fix it"! After all of the apple picking we enjoyed some apple brats (ok Dad and Leyton enjoyed them), apple donuts and apple cider. Here are some pics from our day.

The apples were getting pretty picked over, so Eric had to lift Leyton high into the trees to get some!I guess you can consider this an updated belly photo, since I haven't taken any really this whole pregnancy. It's getting to that frighteningly big stage now...Maddox and Leyton enjoying some of their pickings... Of course Leyton was excited to see some chickens!Leyton happy after polishing off the rest of his apple donut in the car...
