Closing Time

As I mentioned in the previous post, we closed on our house March 30th. We loaded up the boys for yet another long drive to Dodgeville and our first stop when we got there was to visit Julie (Leyton's old daycare provider) and his best buddy Caden. They were all so surprised and excited to see us. Julie knew we were coming, just wasn't sure when we'd get there exactly. We managed to get there around 4:30 so Leyton was able to see all of his friends- Ava and Annika, Caden and Caitlyn. It broke my heart and brought tears to my eyes to see how excited Caden and Ava were to see Leyton. Their mouths literally dropped and then there were the biggest smiles ever. Leyton hugged Julie so hard and so long. They all couldn't believe how big Cal had gotten. That night Julie had us and the other daycare families over for supper and it was great catching up with Caden's parents. Eric and Mike have a lot in common, and Sarah and I hit it off from day one (its no wonder since we share the same birthday! And actually, their daughter Caitlyn shares Eric's birthday. We always thought it was crazy that 1/2 of each of our family members share a birthday with the other family :)). Anyhow it was nice visiting and then the next day Eric and I headed to the house closing in Mineral Point and the boys got to go see their friends again.
