Farmer Cal

Cal is more obsessed with being at the farm than ever.  He absolutely loves being there and talks about it constantly.  Now when he goes there he knows just what to do and stays busy the whole time.   Last Friday he got to go for the afternoon so he was happy about that.  I called around 3:00 to see if I should come get him and Cal said "No!".   So I said I would come get him after Leyton's halftime performance of the boys varsity football game that night and when I called then my mom said "He said he's staying overnight".  He didn't have his beloved moose or blankie, but didn't care at all!  He was just happy to be at the farm.  When I finally got him the next day around 3:00 he still wasn't ready to leave the farm.  He also helped deliver his first calf with Grandpa, and was so proud! Here are a few photos from this spring at the farm. 

2 year check-up

April 9th Fiona had her 2 year checkup.  Everything looked good and she is still one big, happy, healthy girl!  Here are her 2 yr stats:

Weight: 30lbs, 90%

Height: 35in, 95%

And this goofy guy got to tag along.  He was happy he wasn't the one getting shots this time!

Easter 2015

We had a great Easter this year, celebrating with family at Kelly & Dave's house.  Its always so fun getting together with the big Krumm family.  The kids love running around together, and of course 's there's always plenty of eggs for the egg hunt!

 Cal was pretty proud of his baseball egg he found when he woke up:

This sign in Madison made me laugh.  Anyone who knows me knows that Cadbury mini eggs are my favorite food. Ever.

Fiona is 2!

March 31st Fiona turned 2!  I really cannot believe it.  When I went back to work she was 12 weeks old, and it seems like she should still be right around that ;).  She is such a big girl suddenly, talking so much and has the goofiest personality.  She loves her brothers and is also pretty tough because of them!  She was a pretty lucky girl this year and got to celebrate her special day at home with cupcakes, a second time with my family and all of her cousins, and a third time with Eric's family!

She was pretty excited to see and eat that cake!

March Madness

After a long break, I am going to attempt to get caught up on the blog.  Obviously a lot has happened since March, so this may take awhile!  One of the biggest changes happened in March when Target had around 3,000 layoffs, which included me.  So since March 10th I've been a stay at home mom to 3 kids again.  At first it took some getting used to, but I am so thankful for this time with them.  Some other things that happened in March included finishing up hockey for Leyton, Soccer for Cal, and Fiona turning 2!  Here are some random photos from what seems like forever ago! :)

Leyton LOVED his first year of hockey and we just signed up for year 2.  I love that he loves it so much, but I've secretly got my fingers crossed for basketball someday ;)

Its easy for me to spot him out there because I recognize his skating now... but it may not be as easy for anyone else since they all pretty much look the same. :)  He's in the middle of the photo, with the one skate up.

 Fiona has discovered my lipsticks on more than one occasion... She has destroyed at least 3 tubes, and caused me a lot of laundry work!

 Since I was home we actually made it to the St. Patrick's Day parade this year, which the kids loved.

 Being home also finally made for enough time to get the yard cleaned up!  We have SO MANY trees and pine needles that we spend every weekend in the spring and fall raking it seems like.  Cal and Fiona and I kept busy doing that many days while Leyton was at school.

 We rewarded ourselves with s'mores a lot of days also :)  And Cal was pretty impressed that I could start a bonfire!

 We went to Rice Lake to visit Jessie and the cousins, which the kids are always so excited to do.  Fiona and Evie have become buddies and play well together.  Fiona still seems like a giant compared to petite Evelyn!

 Cal is still my baker.  He asks to cook something pretty much everyday!

Cal continued to go to preschool a couple days a week from 8-11 through the rest of the school year. It was fun to be able to bring him and pick him up and see his teachers, since before Eric did drop off at 6am, and I didn't get there until close to 6pm for pickup.
