Visiting the Windy City

Enjoying some amazing pizza!
Brody got to ride and nap in the bottom of my stroller!
Checking out the water fountain with Dad.
Relaxing with my feet up on my stroller tray :)

This past weekend we took a drive down to Chicago. It's about a three hour drive from our house. It was fun seeing the big city, and my puppy Brody even got to come with! We saw the start of the Race to the Mackinac boat race, ate some really good pizza, played in a water fountain and did a little shopping.

Ice Cream Social

On Wednesday night the Lands' End daycare, where I went for the first 6 months when mom was back to work, had an Ice cream social. It was so much fun! I got to eat Culver's ice cream, get a balloon painted on my hand, play with big blocks and even go in my first moon bounce! We waited until all of the bigger kids were done so it wasn't too crazy in there for me. Let me tell you, it sure is hard to walk in those things!

Home Run Derby

Monday night me, Mommy, and Daddy stayed up too late watching one of our favorite baseball players- Prince Fielder, win the home run derby! We were so excited! I'm pretty sure he won because of the good luck outfit I wore for him :) We were also cheering for Joe Mauer to do well- we haven't totally abandoned the twins!

Dad, Brody and Me!

Happy fourth of July everyone! We had a nice long weekend. We went to my mom's cousin Josh's wedding on Friday and then to the cabin on Saturday. The last time I was there I was only 2 weeks old! After that we got to go to Lauren's house to watch the fireworks out on the pontoon. The fireworks sure were cool!

Meet Brody!

Grace and Lucy sure love Brody!

OK, so we did something kind of crazy last week... we got a puppy! He is a Cocker Spaniel named Brody. At first I wasn't sure what to think of him, but I'm warming up to him more and more everyday. I think soon we'll be best buds. :) We dont have very many photos of him yet for a reason- we were up at the cabin for the 4th and a big dog jumped off the dock, and Brody decided to jump in right after him! Well, Dad didnt know if Brody could swim so he jumped in after him- with the camera in his pocket! Turns out Brody can swim, and now we have to go camera shopping! :)
