Big Boy Haircut

This past weekend mom and dad took me to get a haircut. As you can see from the last post my hair had gotten quite long. Mom liked it long, but dad wasn't so sure about it- and mom was in agreement that it could at least use some cleaning up. Anyhow, I didn't cry and I sat very still the whole time in my cool fire truck chair! When she was all done (and she did a lot more than just clean it up- mom was a little traumatized at how short it was) she gave me a cool faux-hawk style, but don't worry that's not how its cut! :)

Messy Eater?

I've never really been a messy eater- even when I was little I didn't like food on my face. If some got on my chin I would always stop and try to wipe it off. My daycare lady often tells mom what a "Neat Nick" (?) I am. Anyhow, something got into me the other night, and when mom turned around I had rubbed my Alfredo sauce all over in my hair! I even topped it off with a noodle on my head. Mom got a few pictures to show dad because she knew he wouldn't believe her, then we headed for the tub. I think I'll try this more often since I love tub time!

Swimming Lessons Part 4

This past weekend I completed my 4th round of swimming lessons. Mommy and I go to swimming lessons at the Lands' End pool, and there are lots of other kids my age there. I've gotten much more brave this time around- I now love jumping off the side of the pool into moms arms, without her even holding my hands, and I've gotten the hang of trying to get myself out of the pool on the edge. Can't wait for all the summer swimming now!

Play Ball!

A few weekends ago mom and dad bought me my very own baseball glove! I liked dad's so much they figured I could get my own kid sized one. Dad and I have been having a lot of fun playing catch! I haven't totally got the catching part down, but if I hold my glove steady dad usually helps get the ball right in it :)

Governor Dodge

Last weekend the weather was so beautiful that we went out to Governor Dodge State park and went for a walk. Brody loved going in the water, and I even walked right in with my shoes and socks on too!

Here I am picking a beautiful dandelion for mommy :)Brody cooling down...

Smile!

So mom's been meaning to post these for a long time now (months...) and now that its almost time for my 2 year pictures she figured it was really time to get my 18 month ones posted! Here are a few of mom and dad's favorites...

Happy Easter

Ok, so this is a little late, but I wanted to say happy Easter to everyone, and let everyone know what a great weekend we had! The weekend started on Thursday when I got an ear infection (not so great) and mom had to stay home with me. We got some medicine though and I was better in no time. Friday was the Twins game, and Saturday was Easter at Grandma Sharon's house. We had a lot of fun there, and even got to see Aunt Sarah! Then Sunday we had Easter at Great Grandma Krumm's with great food and an Easter egg hunt, followed by another Easter egg hunt at Grandma McNamara's! Then it was time for the long drive back to Dodgeville. Thanks for all the fun everyone! When we got back to Dodgeville the Easter bunny had visited my house and left my basket filled with eggs and candy and a few more presents!

Go Twins Go!

We got to go to a real live baseball game last Friday- my first one ever! Aunt Kelly and Uncle Dave worked on the stadium so they were nice enough to get us all tickets for the first game played by the twins at Target Field. The stadium is amazing- everyone was raving about it! Dad liked it so much he went back the next day, and is counting down the days until the opener next week. Thanks for the great time and seats Kelly and Dave! Hanging with the cousins. The babies were both at the game too!
I was very interested in the baseball game. I sat still and watched a lot of it, even when mom tried to make me get up and walk around with her I still snuck peaks of the game.
Down by the field with dad. I swear I was more enthused than this photo lets on...
Mom, Dad and I ready to go inside!
