Visiting Santa!

We went to see Santa when he came to Farm & Home this year again.  Fiona didn't seem to notice or care who's lap she was on, so no tears there.  Leyton was a little nervous and of course made me tell Santa what he wanted because there was no way he was talking to him.  Cal surprised me the most when he started bawling when it was our turn to go up.  He'd been watching in line and didn't say anything about not wanting to go or being scared.  As soon as we walked up to him he started bawling and would not sit on his lap.  I finally calmed him down by showing him that Leyton was sitting next to him and Fiona was on his lap, so he agreed to go up there.  He obviously didn't say anything to Santa either ;).

Christmas Programs!

Cal had his 3 year old preschool Christmas program on Dec. 16th.  He had been singing songs at home for weeks leading up to the program and it sounded so cute!  The day of his program they went to The Deerfield and sang for the people there.  Well by the time his program that night came at 6:30 he was over signing, and was tired.  He cried when it was time to go sing, and his teachers said "Cal, you sang the loudest at Deerfield today! You were the only one we could hear!".   So needless to say he only sang for about 30 seconds of the last song and I was bummed I didn't get to hear how funny it must have been when he sang loud at The Deerfield.  Oh well, maybe next year!

Leyton's 4K program was on December 12th.  He sang the songs, but definitely didn't get as into it as he did leading up to the program at home.  He is in the back in the black and white sweater:

I left work early to get them from daycare and feed them supper quick before the program at 6:30, and he fell asleep after eating at 5:30 and wasn't too happy when I woke him up!

Fiona's 8 month photos

December 1st Fiona turned 8 months old.  She started crawling shortly after her 8 month birthday.  The first time I saw her crawl was December 11th.  She may have crawled before that, but I didn't have the heart to ask daycare for fear they would say she'd been crawling for weeks for them! ;)

Cal's 3 year check-up

Back in November Cal had his 3 year old well child check-up. 

He had a good time goofing around with the doctor and showing him his jumping, counting, and talking skills.  Cal is a healthy, happy, active 3 year old! 

Here are his stats at 3 years:

Height: 38" (60th %)

Weight: 37lbs (90th %)

Fiona came along for the appointment and got her flu shot.  Poor girl!
