Cal's 4th Birthday!

November 19th Cal turned 4.  My baby boy is turning into such a big boy.  He is so sweet, and says the funniest things, but every day he sounds older and older.  His passion is still farming.  It is all he does every night basically, and every weekend he begs to go to the farm.  When I asked what he wanted for his cake/party, I wasn't at all surprised when he said John Deere tractors :).  His cake turned out super cool, and he loved it.  I don't think he was expecting it to be in the shape of an actual tractor.  It was also a lot bigger than both of us were expecting!

Jessie got him his very own Packer jersey and he begs to wear it to daycare almost every day.
His smiles are so very intense!  He loves his new John Deere movie.
 And his new hat! :)
On his actual birthday he got a crown at preschool.  He wore it all night!
Eric got home from work early and made a cake with him.  This kid loves to help cook, so that pretty much made his day.
 Goofy kids ready for cake!

Fiona's 18 month Check-up

Fiona had her 18 month check-up in October, and is a healthy and happy girl.  We were most excited about her recent graduation from Physical Therapy! Fiona started physical therapy at 10 months old when it became clear that she did not like to bear weight on her legs/feet.  We had a great physical therapist who Fiona adored.  She would visit Fiona once a week at daycare and work on various things with her to get her more comfortable on her feet, and get her walking.  Fiona started walking at 17 months, so it was great to go to her 18 month check-up with the good news for her pediatrician!  Now she pretty much runs everywhere :).

Fiona's 18 month stats:
Weight: 26.8 lbs, 95%
Height: 90%

Shots are the worst:
After her appointment we headed up to Rice Lake for the weekend, since Eric was out of town for work and the kids love playing together.  Fiona was so excited to see Evelyn!

Halloween!

Happy belated Halloween! This year we had a Ninja Turtle, a Shark, and a Frog.  The kids had a fun day dressing up at school and then going out trick or treating with their cousins that night.  Here are some Halloween photos!

Once Fiona got a taste of her first trick or treating goody she was a happy camper!
Leyton and Breck at Lindsey's house:
 Ella, Lauren and Leyton:
Evie was the cutest pig I've ever seen!  Grace had a cool and creative homemade tornado costume, and Lucy was a surgeon.
The kids love and hate going to Lindsey's neighbor's house. :)  It is super spooky, and they give tons of candy!
Cal was very worried about if these were real bones or not...
We headed to the downtown stores trick or treating for a bit.
And Cal dove right in for a hug from the state farm bear!

Luca was supposed to be the Shark, but when it came it was too big, so Jessie was nice enough to loan it to Cal this year.  Luca made a pretty cool Buzz Lightyear instead :)

Trying to get a group photo at Grandma Krumm's house:
We finished the night at Grandma and Grandpa McNamara's.  I think Fi was happy to get out of her costume.
Earlier that day Leyton had a parade at school:
His class sang some songs for us after the parade:
Jessie showed me this cute witches broomstick snack that he brought for his class snack:
 We also carved pumpkins:

The kids drew their own faces and Eric and I did the carving:
 Cal LOVED his :)

Apple Orchard

We went to Aamodt's Apple Farm at the beginning of October, and it was a great day.  The weather was perfect and there were plenty of things for the kids to do and see.

Leyton and Cal went on this "train ride" and thought it was pretty neat.

We took a hayride that the kids really liked, Fiona just didn't want to show it!

Cal and Fiona loved the goats.
Cal especially... I could not get him away from them when it was time to go.

The John Deere trikes were a hit with the boys, for obvious reasons :)
