Dentist Visits

Last week the kids both had dentist appointments.  I took Cal first while Leyton was at preschool.  It was Cal's first time at the dentist, and I was a little worried about how he would do.  I couldn't picture him sitting in the chair laying back still, or opening his mouth and letting them dig around in there... But he completely impressed me and did great!  The hygienist and Dr. Mike were  impressed with how well he listened and opened his mouth for them.  Cal even let them polish his teeth, something the hygienist was certain she wouldn't be able to do!  Leyton's appointment was later that afternoon and he did great as well.  Dr. Mike said they both have healthy, good looking teeth.  The kids were pretty excited to get their new toothbrushes and floss afterwards, and pick out a prize.

 Afterwards I had promised them a treat at Dairy Queen. (not sure the Dentist would be impressed with treats for a reward...)  They both picked Star kisses which stained their faces for a long time!
